Medical weight loss
For people whose usual approach stopped working, and who want the reason understood before the prescription.
Medication makes the work possible. It does not replace the work, and it is not a permanent substitute for protein, resistance training, and sleep.
A supervised program that starts by finding out why weight is not moving. Thyroid, insulin, cortisol, and sex hormones all influence it, and any of them can be the bottleneck.
Once the labs are read, treatment may include medication, hormone correction, or neither. The evaluation decides.

Start with what you are noticing. Each page explains the causes and how we approach them.
How it works
-
1
Labs first
Your consultation reviews them alongside your history, your goals, and what has already been tried.
-
2
A conservative start
If medication is appropriate, it starts at a conservative dose with a defined follow-up schedule.
-
3
Regular follow-up
Visits run 15 to 25 minutes on the non-hormone program.
-
4
Protect lean mass
Protein and resistance training are part of the plan. Weight change is gradual by design.

Before you start
What to know about weight loss medication before your first visit.
Off-label and compounded use
Some weight-loss medication is prescribed off-label, and compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Both routes are set out on the GLP-1 page, which distinguishes brand-name FDA-approved products from compounded ones.
Controlled alternatives
Where a GLP-1 is not the right route, the alternative is an oral appetite suppressant, and those are Schedule IV controlled substances prescribed only after evaluation and with scheduled follow-up.
Decided at your consultation
Which is appropriate for you, if any, is decided at your consultation after labs, and Nicole will go through the evidence, the benefits, the risks, and the alternatives before you consent to anything.
